Building a dart 427, Stock Ls6 intake doable?
Guys I am in the process of building a dart ls 427 with mast 295cc cathedral port heads. I wasnt planning on getting this wild with the build but it has gone into orbit. I was running a 6.0 lq4 with the stock ls6 intake with a set of 62/68 .88 ar borg warners from forced inductions. I"m going to get a new set of turbos, don't really want to but it will be choking down the motor and i dont want the backpressure to be through the roof.
I am wondering is the stock ls6 intake even worth my time to run on this motor? I know there are far better intakes out there but I do not want to have to cut the hood. I was told that the Brian Tooley racing intake is a nice piece and it is a low profile design., and it might fit under my hood (gonna do some measuring tonight)
What do you guys think?

With as far as you've gone, I wouldn't go with a stock intake. LS3 based heads and a stock LS3 intake would've been OK.
The BTR intake is alright. Don't exclude the Holley race sniper, FAST 102 or MSD 102.

You will be fine with a LS6 intake. I'm also doing a twin TT 427 and I will be using a LS6 intake. LJMS already confirmed that if you don't plan to have a high reving combo that the LS6 will outperform the BTR intake.
