Well ima bench flow my heads first today, and see what results I get, but also found out my crank is fucked on my 6.0💔 never noticed until 2 days ago that whoever had it before broke there crank bolt deep inside the crank. I guess over tighten and then trying to loosen it it snapped so had to get a new one and that’s going in today. Good thing is I got the drain bung welded on the oil pan!

Well another step back on the motor, went to take the crank out and one rod bearing came out trashed, getting the motor honed and cleaned with new rod bearings tomorrow hopefully, glad I went into the motor and found that problem!

Did u use a 92mm tb, and if u did what size coupling did u use going from tb to cold side piping? Mines 3 in piping so thinking maybe a 4”-3” straight or 90 coupling

I did use a 92mm.

4" from tb to intercooler. 3.5" from turbo to intercooler.... The piping was laying around. There are a few pics of my cold side on the link.

For now keep the 10 bolt, have a 4.10 gear and a Eaton locker on it, only thing I can think of is lowering the gears to maybe a 3.90 or 3.73

From my experience- assuming you plan on doing a lot of street driving- 3.73 or even 3.50s is a good thing.

I have found when you are pushing 800+ft-lbs, turbos appear to love lower gears. In my current build- I have a 6 speed automatic. Too many gears, too much shifting.

My truck has 3:73's and I like the way it drives. I'll be switching to an 80e soon and turning the boost up to about 15-16.

Only reason why I was thinking staying to a 3.73 is because it’s a 4 door and there pretty heavy, but a 3.50 might help me save some e85 also lol

Well got the motor in the truck, trans and converter bolted up, looking good, water pump bolted and torqued, just waiting on the power steering and alternator bracket bolts since I seem to misplace em lmao, then start wiring everything and Holley goes on after
