so im installing the on3 single turbo kit on a stock 4.8 vortec to a 00 gmc sierra. so im wanting to know could you use an alternate way to feed and drain oil to turbo such as an extra coolant overflow tank ?tank is brand new never used or would it be better to tap into oil pan?

Are you saying you want to know if you can create a self-contained oiling system? The answer is yes, but doubt a coolant overflow tank would be sufficient.

Feed/return on a truck is pretty simple depending on turbo placement. I don't see the point in the extra effort.
