Default F1A folks come on in

Hi folks, posted in the fuel section with no success. I have a LS3 swapped 4th gen currently running a maxed out D1SC. Looking to swap it out for a F1A. Planning to run a 4.25" on the blower with 8.65" crank which will max the blower out at 6800rpm. I'm concerned that I might run out of fuel. Will be on pump and meth no corn around here unfortunately. Hoping some F1A guys can chime in on what they’re running for fuel, pulley combo, power levels etc. Thanks folks.

Hey there,

F1X on a 427
4.00" x 7.65"

Dual 255 (510lph)
80lb injectors at 80% duty cycle at 6000rpm on 91 OCT
Approx 800whp @ 13lbs @ 11.44 AFR

Boost Ref. FPR at a stable 60psi Fuel Rail pressure

What is your pump size? What injectors are you running?

When you say maxed out are you referring to blower RPM, boost level? You pretty much have to exceed the recommended max RPM of the blower to get the most out of them. Since you are typically only at that max RPM for a narrow RPM window its not that big of a deal. Have ran the D1SC and the F1A on an LS3 beyond its "rated" RPM to get 20+ PSI and to get the boost in earlier so its not so laggy.

Yes blower rpm will be just over the 74k limit at 6800rpm.

Ah yes D1SC is maxed out being slightly over spun makes around 17psi iirc.

Interested in details of your setups

Not running meth - but I'm sure when summer comes around, I'll probably have to unless I keep the boost down.

Currently in winter, IAT's don't exceed 90F. Car runs around 170F. Stock radiator. Spal fans.

Wow that’s super low ect’s. I’ve seen mine creep up to 215 in the summer. That big front mount race intercooler doesn’t help.

According to Racetronix who spec'd my kit (510 lph dual pumps) for my Procharged D1SC 98 Z28 - Racetronix stated it would handle up to 1000 rhwp on pump gas along with their rail kit, FPR, and 8an feed and 6an return fuel line kit. I am not running meth.
