02 WS6 Vortech Supercharger NEED HELP!
Last weekend I pick up a Vortech Supercharger kit from a kid in Dallas that was a pull-off from a wrecked SS Camaro. The kit is pretty complete minus a few things that I am needing to the source, the main problem is the crank pulley and damper assy where left on the car and the part number from Vortech seems to be discounted. Looks like an ATI damper may work as its a 6 rib design but no luck with a pulley, I have seen a universal pulley with both GM and ford bolt patterns but unsure if it will work, not much luck getting Vortech to return calls.
Vortech part numbers:
4GK116-031 CRANK PULLEY ASSEMBLY 1
4GK016-011 Damper Assy, 6 Rib 1
4GK018-031 Crank Pulley 1
Thanks in advance for any help and happy new year.

My kit was missing the following:
Power steering pump relocation bracket: this bracket does not exist anymore, you will have to make one or use https://www.summitracing.com/parts/h...SABEgKJ8PD_BwE, the problem is it will not fit the original relocation position as the vortech one did. I will post some pics of where I put mine later, this kit is about 70 bucks I think.
Power steering pump fitting: this is brass fitting, there now 4 left at vortech they are two-part numbers and over 50.00 bucks, the fitting comes in two pieces you will have to sweat them together, I sliver soldered mine.
Power steering pump fitting bracket: this do not exist anymore, you will have to make one, pretty straight forward I used a galvanized angle bracket from ace hardware and mocked it with some cardboard. used a leftover chassis tab to make a spacer to bet the retainer out far enough to hold the fitting in the pump. 20 bucks.
Power steering pump reservoir fitting: this no longer exists, you are just **** out of luck unless you can make one and trial and error it out.
Power steering pump high-pressure line: this does exist, for the 3 fittings if buy from vortech it will cost you about 120 bucks, I was able to source the fittings and have a line made at Midwest hose here in OKC, it cost me 26 dollars for all the fitting and line.
Coil pack relocation tabs: these don't exist anymore, I went down to smiles racing here in OKC and bought some chassis tabs and fab'ed them up to move the coil packs down 1.5 inches to clear the blower pipe. I think the tabs where about 20 bucks, hardware from ace was about 10 bucks.
Damper assembly: This is an ATI super damper they are still being made they are 460!!! bucks.
Crank pulley: this is not in existence anymore, I am currently dealing with ASP in texas, they have the actual drawings and are machining me one to spec, rather than trying to sell you a 10 rib pulley (these kits are 8 ribs) and make some spacer to make it "work". 350 bucks, 4 weeks lead time (we shall see how it goes.)
Aftercooler bracket: this is not in existence anymore, but the good news is it was a complete piece of crap from the get-go, vortech used a think bracket and the cooler sat on a piece of foam. I fab'ed an adjustable rod and welded a tab on the bottom of the intercooler to hold it off the coil pack and throttle assembly. about 60 bucks.
A/C canister relocation: Buy a number 52 clamp and remove the rubber from between the wheel well and it will move the canister over enough to clear the aftercooler fittings. .60 cents
EGR relocation kit: doesn't exist anymore, this car has TSP long tubes and EGR is deleted already, I would just buy a delete kit they are cheap, 65 bucks or something.
Belt tensioner: Same one used on the 5.0 kits, DO NOT buy this from vortech, they charged me over 100 bucks and it didn't even come with the damn idler pulley and dust cover, that was another 60 bucks from Summit, they are still available.
Fuel pump and injector: bought a set of FIC 60lbs from a guy on here for 245 bucks, and Racetronix 255lph hotwire kit for 262 bucks. I think this will be much better than the original vortech set up of having a booster.
Most important things I have learned,
- The small things add up big time if the kit is missing anywhere near the above its worth about 800 to 100 bucks in my opinion.
- Avoid buying from vortech they are extremely overpriced and most of this stuff is COT's.(commercial of the shelf items)
- If you have someone make your parts agree to an ETD and hold them to it! don't waste your time with someone that cant manage themselves, there are other options out there just have to look harder.
- Make sure the person that is making the parts has the engineering drawing and is actually making you the parts you need, not buying a 10 rib pulley and making a spacer to make something "work". P.S. there is no spacer on these kits between the pulley and damper, the offset is built into the pulley.

this is the crank pinned to the damper and shot of the pulley from the top I’ll post a better pic tomorrow or Friday. This way if anyone comes across the same issue they have a good option.
