Thats what I have in there now......old studs reused from a 436ci I had back in 2002. They are now in my LQ9.

You think just use them and I'll be fine....?

My old motor had 4 year old regular ARP studs and saw 30psi before I owned it and 25psi under my ownership. No issues. Upgrade to the aged studs if you're still on the fence, but you don't need 1/2" studs.

If the money is there, go 625.

If not, it's no big deal. And either or for the Athena gaskets. They could lessen any need for biggest or better studs.

I'm getting the 625's.....$777.00

All the bullshit that a to of people complain about will be eliminated.....so what the hell, I'll get them. Then if I want to go a little more than 21-22......I can.

Just some info, Tick told me torque the 1/2" studs to 120lbs. I've currently got ARP 2000's torqued at 100lbs, so I'll do the 1/2" next time the engine is apart.
