Fuel to boost issue

Default Fuel to boost issue

I’m running a 4303 pump and a 9950 magna fuel reg -12 feed to pump -10 to engine a -8 return voltage at pump wot 13.4v base pressure set 45 at 9lbs boost on raise fuel to 51psi. Tested regulator put 10 psi on it raises exactly to 55psi checked boost signal seems good don’t know what else to check.

Where’s the signal coming from to the regulator? Before or after the intercooler?
Also, what regulator?

Is the boost signal coming from the exact same source as your map sensor/boost gauge or whatever you're using to determine boost?

Boost is coming from port off back of Holley hi ram it has 3 ports 1 is brake booster 3/8” fitting and 1 is 1/8” going to bov the other is 1/8” going to regulator. I’m using a magna fuel 9950-b boost reference regulator . I’m using map sensor for boost pressure but I did check boost with a gauge as well

As long as its consistent and you aren't running out of injector, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You should be using a line that only sees boost, no vac, to the reg. Having vac will reduce FP (which should be set with pump on, engine off). Plumb it somewhere bet. the turbo and TB.

Check/change/clean the filters. Source spot is fine.
If you don’t have the volume, you won’t have the pressure at the sensor. Been there, done that. (Chased my tail for a whole summer)

3 window is on it. If filters are clean, cap reg outlet and check return fuel volume at 55psi (or more if you plan to turn it up). Compare to expected for hp produced. If volume is good but you can't reach desired fuel pressure, cap return also to make sure pump can produce enough pressure.

Lol what? The regulator should see vacuum as well, it reduces fuel pressure to match the vacuum in the intake to give it the exact same pressure differential throughout the entire range between idle and boost.
