he did say timing super low, he put his own basemap on it and car picked up 200tq more before 3500rpms with way better spool but then it started to miss. So I’m confident the car will comeback much different.

pretty sure we going to run the same 15psi but with the m1 added. Told him he could go higher if he felt like it but it wasn’t necessary.

ok just paid the bill, i gotta go pick it up later or tmr. Car has a few issues to work out. However, he was able to finish the tune. 588rwhp 16psi M1/93 on the mustang dyno. his dyno puts ton of load and always reads low so making the 588 with him is going to be a good car.

He said he has no idea how I got 668 on that other graph and the graph itself looks wrong. He said car did like 460 on his dyno on other tune. Thinks the tires spun or something causing that power increase on graph cause it was reading around 10* timing after 2psi. Would most likely explain why the car felt so slow driving I guess. Oh well not like I’m going to call original guy and complain anyways.

anyways on to the new graph and power curve, apparently I do still have some creep.

excited for the drive home. I wasn’t looking for this insane HP car but I’m sure I would break 600hp on dyno jet. I’m sure this will be way more fun than was before.

Hey look! A turbo v8 dyno curve!

I wouldn't be swayed by the numbers. They have a bunch of goofy correction factors and things they use to make customers happy. You'll be 10x happier with that tune IMO!

car weights 3200lbs, essentially makes 600hp. It has normal full gear to use. I’m for sure happy. Can’t wait to drive it honeslty. Only downside with the car, not tuner, is it runs out of power up top. I thought the btr stage 2 cam would be decent size. However I can pay more attention to that when I build a block later on.

Doubt it's the cam falling off? Believe you can pull up lots of other dynos that continue to pull well past 6k with that cam. Maybe valve springs? LS1 intake? Could be the tune as well, they like timing back in them by 6k. If he just flat lines it at 15* or something it may not be getting the timing it needs/wants at higher RPM and cause a little hump or dip. It prob would have kept going...

Whats a 91mm TB transitioning to an LS1 intake look like? Isn't the opening into the intake like 78mm on those?

the TB prob pointless. It tapers so small inside to that stock intake. He said after like 6400 or falls off pretty good.

I was trying to get a video last night driving it home but I didn’t wanna use one hand lol. Car drives so damn smooth cruising at 80 so I’ll be driving this thing everywhere. I laid into it at 3300ish rpm at 80 in 3rd gear and it was instant pull. Felt so good. My buddy has some device for 60-140 times. Going use that. Also, Cannot feel the meth at all. Only way you know it’s on is the LED indicator. I’m super happy with mid and top end. He told me today he actually didn’t go all out on the tune either so I just need to build a block during summer time to install for winter.

He is going to redo my idle in couple weeks cause driverside is showing much leaner at idle than pass side but evens out under any throttle so I gotta clean injectors, fix my starter issue and put a new serpentine belt on. Mine is half off with truck accessories. So I have some work to do on it stil.

what I really need is traction in 2nd gear lol. I have 275/40/18s on there now but they junk all season tires. Thinking some r888s see if they help. I will get a video ASAP. I heard NE drag way opening this weekend too. Maybe I can go for a day if my girl isn’t being her usual PIA.

damn, 7 seconds seems long for 3rd gear lol. I’ll lose couple seconds down at 60 with lower rpm though. He has a vbox. Think we using it tmr

It'll probably be longer than that if you are starting in 3rd at low rpm. Low 7s from a 2nd gear hit at your power/weight would be reasonable.

so you were right. It’s about 7.5 if I shift better. My 110-120 with shift is super bad. Rest seems ok.

I’m going to wire in a spark cutout if I can find a wire that controls all the coilpacks from ecu. This way I can do a no lift shift Between gears without the rpm climbing during that shift and keeping the boost in piping.

Hmm... never seen it done like that. Pretty simple, if it works.

On your trigger relay, I think you would want to switch 30 and 86. Have constant ground on the 30 and use your clutch switch for the switched ground. Right?

30 will be a ground when clutch pedal is down and 86 will be a switched ground when gas pedal down all the way... so it will only cut spark at WOT and clutch pedal. If anything goes wrong the main relay will be N/C for the coil wires so car will never shut down if switch’s fail. Switch’s fail then I only lose the ignition cut feature and not get stranded.

i just need to find diagrams for factor coils to see if there is a single wire I can tap into to cut off spark on all cyl.

Ah okay, if that's what the video said, I'm sorry. Can't watch that at work. That makes more sense. Splice into the 12v on the coil harness on each side.

video is just of my 60-130 lol . Diagram is just a picture of how I’m going do it.

so each side has just 1, 12v wire going to it for powering all the coils on that bank? Or is it a power wire for each coilpack

One wire that splits to all the coils, on each bank. So tap in before the junction.

You can get an R2MB Box. It does 2 step and flat shifting with some customization. Easy to install too.
