A simple timer relay will keep the pump running after shutdown ( although needs wired to suit, they are not a direct replacement for a conventional relay, simple job though )
And once again, you must have a valve in the feed to prevent the turbo getting saturated with oil after shutdown. Until you have done that, it will always smoke at least until all that oil has burnt away after a long drive.

I used a hydraulic check valve and stepped it down to the sizes I needed.
ie. this sort of thing. Bound to be plenty of similar options in the US.

APS Turbo in australia used a small 12v solenoid in the supply line, which would close when powered off to achieve the same thing. Although they did then place an oil pressure warning light just after this in case the solenoid was to fail when driving.

They do some good stuff and offer good info.
Obviously it will take some time to clear and burn away any oil that is currently saturated through your turbo though. So take it a good drive to allow that to happen after fitting it.

Update:
Sent back all the copper and brass stuff I bought.I came across a post on facebook where a guy said he used an alumnium fuel filter housing with AN inlets and outlets for his turbo oil sump. I'm surprised I hadn't thought of that. I placed an order for it yesterday. Here is the link in case anybody else is wondering https://allstarperformance.com/filte...ment-all40246/

The scavenge setup is the same. I thought the pump went bad so I got a replacement. This is the pump I use https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Electri...gAAOSwwpdW2QLo. I know the pump isn't an issue nor was the previous one. I test it on my bench and it flows a ton and has no problem sucking uphill. The only thing I tried changing on my setup was blocking the vent line to ensure the pump is able to pull oil uphill since during my bench testing I discovered that with a vent and no tank, the pump looses all its suction.

Update: So, since I don't have that much room under the car being on a BMW chassis, I had to do some more digging. The initial fuel filter housing I bought was an "impulse" buy because I was tired of waiting for parts and wanted to get my car running again. It measured 12 inches in length. After only a few minutes of searching (which I should've initially done since now I have to wait for more parts), I found this https://www.racetronix.biz/p/fuel-fi...k/filter-1212b. This measures 7 inches in length which saves me 5 inches and is ORB as opposed to the first one which had male outlets on both sides. The issue with male outlets on both sides is that the Tee I was using for a vent required me to use a female-female union which added more length to the filter housing.

I couldn't get any nice pictures for some reason so it's not that easy to tell but there's a 90 coming off the turbo going to another 90 which guarantees downhill flow and also angles the tank slightly downwards so it feeds towards the scavenge pump. So far no smoking at idle or while driving and it's not pouring out the vent so I could say it's working
