Budget twin turbos?
Anyone ever experimented with some budget twin turbos?
I have a higher compression iron "Ls1" with supporting mods and was wondering how a pair of like wrx turbos would do as twins?
Would be quick to spool, similar to a supercharger. Cheap to find, and easy for me to fab up manifolds/intercooler setup.
Only thing I'm I'm not familiar with is compressor maps, and essentially If they'll choke the engine.

I haven't paid attention to the newer factory turbos. Back in the late 90's I built a twin turbo 5.0 mustang with a friend that ran the turbo coupe turbos. Those were great for a 5.0.
Today, can you actually buy a used WRX turbo cheaper than a China T3? Twin T3's have a good history in here.

I run cxracing twin gt35s spent $700 which pricier side of things for China turbos. Made about 700 so far on them.
coming from world of Nissan factory twin turbo car, you won’t find twins off factory cars for cheaper then China turbos. Factory cars use garrets. For the nissans anyways.

I think my two On3 GT35's were $6xx.xx, total, when I bought them in 2016. I changed the housings from the cast iron .63 A/R to Stainless .80 A/R w/Vbands so that added another $3xx. Solid performers though.
