Help picking a turbo Im building my parts list to turbo my 5.3, im a bit confused with all these turbos out there. I have a bottom end 5.3 ported 862s with ls1 intake valves, pac1219 springs and a stage 2 tsp 212/218 .600 cam and headers. I want some options that would best fit my needs, preferably under $700-$800. Its a daily truck. Thanks.

That is the larger 7875. It gas a big 1.25 turbine AR. Not the best for your mild 5.3 in my opinion. Check vsracings website directly. They have 4 or 5 different versions of the 7875. I personally believe a single 366 Is to small but people have used them. Just like 6 threads down from this is a guy who ran a 366 on a 4.8 and ran 10.40s on a third Gen camaro if I remember what I read a little while ago. Good thing about the 366 with your engine it would spool Hella quick.

Don't be afraid to look for something used on here either.
I bought a lightly used Turbonetics T7875 which retails for around $1,400 on this forum for $700 shipped and it served me well for four years.
A used PTE 7675 at the right price would make lots of power and be in the $900-$1000 range in good condition.
The VS unit is a great option too.
