Get a better alternator. I used one from JS alternator. Held 14v till redline at 8300rpms

8 gauge from battery to 60amp relay straight to pump. Pump grounds to chassis immediately. Relay trigger is from the oem power wire off stock fuel pump relay.

That seems pretty stout. Maybe just need to try that larger pulley or move to a more powerful alternator. Whats that truck one called, DG something or other.

The re-manufactured DR44g's are not good for that at all, only the brand new ones. The re-mans are just like mine and stop at 5500.

interesting. Pretty sure I've logged battery voltage and it hung on way better after I switched to that alternator.
