Default ls stall converter that may be in stock

Im looking for a good stall converter that may be in stock somewhere.I have 2 ptc 9.5 converters but hearing they are 6 weeks or better out. Here in the midwest we are on a narrow window on how long we can race and dont want to lose 2 months waiting on a converter.Do you guys have opinions or preference of a dealer or converter for a sbe 5.3 for a turbo 400 spline that will be ok with 900 hp at the crank...thanks in advance

Don't know if this correlates with anything but I sent my converter to Yank for a cut and clean and they said they were a week and a half out......

I have a Protorque 8 inch bolt together good for 1000 hp. Just change the stator. It might work if your in a pinch.

Good luck with that. My buddy ordered a converter 3 weeks ago and still has no confirmation of it being shipped yet.

They actually just called me about 3pm this evening and will be shipping it out tomorrow morning. They recieved it last Monday so they have had it for 6 business days.

I have heard of guys ordering new converters say it's taking a while but my cut and clean was quick.

Well that's good to hear. Maybe the new converters are trouble because the builders are having a internal part shortage.
