Default CAM question

how would this cam work with my car? 220/226 .564/.569 -114 ... 98 A4, Vortech G-Trim Aftercooled, stock internal everything except MLS Head Gaskets and ARP Bolts, Jet Hot Long Tubes. Would also want to go with springs, but shoud I dow 918, or Double Springs? Maybe Titanium Retainers and seats, so I could rev higher? Any opinions welcome

Thanks,

Looks pretty good to me! I went with a 224/230 114+4 cam. And I love it makes great power. What do the MLS gaskets do to your compression (How much lower?) I would also look at a little smaller pulley like a 2.75" pulley Vortech sells one and it won't kill your warranty if you still have one of those. A good tune should net you some good power. I think you will be pretty happy with your numbers and track times. Good luck!

I've got a 2.75" pulley in my back seat, I'm waiting to get some time to mess with tuning anyway, thanks for the advice, I'll try it out.

what's the part number on the crane's you're running? I was reading on Jegs and notice that it says you may have to buy their spring seats depending on your application. I just put LS6 Valve springs in my car along with new seats and seals. I got the ones with the seals and seats are one piece. does that mean I need to buy Crane's seats to use these springs? thanks for the info

The crane duals are the 832's and they require a different valve seal Thunder sells the kit which is not a bad deal. I see a lot of people running the Patriot golds with good success? Yes with those duals you will want there hardend steel seats and then you will have to go back with older style seals the ones without the seats intergraded.
