What did the car weigh and how much power was it making when it went 8s. Also, what did it do in the eight mile if you don't mind me asking.

Couldn't have been that much power it was only a stock block/stock head 5.3L. Was years ago, I ended up getting fed up with the weight and IRS and parted it out. I think it ended up around 3700lbs.

Yeah, they're heavy as hell. I think Jon doc went 5.30 in his 4000lb 5th gen with 1100 whp. If I can get it somewhere around there I'd be content. I'm pretty sure it will are 1300whp with the 6975s with g2 turbines, but im thinking about just getting a set of Jose's etr 7675s and calling it a day. I don't think the current fuel system will support everything the 76s will make and I really don't want to do a noisy external pump. Kinda at a crossroads here.

I'd save the duckets by skipping the chyFI and get some VSR units, pretty sure they've gone faster for less than half the price. Plus the VSR come with dual vband housings which makes everything cleaner to me and they seem to spool faster.

Bluto what trans?

I have offset bushings from Hendrix, they are a good idea.

I don't like loud pumps either. I went the route of running two pumps, 1 Bosch 044 and 1 Weldon 2345a.

Nice. Ben W holds the 1/8th record for a power adder 5th gen with his 5.09, John Doc is #2. John is doing a new turbo and obviously knows his way around boosted ls stuff, his other car the GN is flying going 4.12 with a hydraulic roller.

What is the timeline with your engine, is it over with Graham now? He's honing my block this week.

Is that some sort of specific forum list? Tom McGiltons 5th gen has run 7.1 at close to 200, mid 4's in the 1/8th and that's still a real street car. For race cars George Farkouhs 5th gen has gone 7.0@195'ish, obviously well into the 4's in the 1/8th.

I have a record list group on FB and I moved my list spreadsheet into there that I've been curating for 15 years.

I don't know Tom McG, what is the combo?

Farks is the 2nd or 3rd quickest blower 5th gen, I think they are around a 4.50. Mark Dykeman's blower car has been 4.20s.

The list is pinned in here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/652162175737586

I have some extra tabs for Top 10 supercharged, nitrous, SBE and all motor.

I don't do FB, but here's an older article that sums it up. https://www.whichcar.com.au/features...let-zl1-camaro

I know that car, it has a BBC in there, my list is only LS or LT powered.

For example he's on Sick Week, I don't follow him cuz BBC. Clark R, black 5th gen I tracked him when he was still LS, so he has an entry but since he went BB his entry is now static.

I'm making some changes to the list permissions, once I verify I'm good I'll post the link here it's a google doc.

I run one of their 427s in my 87 caprice... hydraulic roller engine. Dart shp pro, magnum crank, ultra rods, diamond pistons, all pro ls7s, plazmaman (Borowski) intake with twin forced induction custom 76s....Only 30psi, 1500+ rwhp. Love that engine man. Pulled it out a few weeks ago to check over everything for the new season and internally looked just as good as when I installed it. Gonna up it to 35-38psi this year.

Man that's good news. they have some really nice stuff and thats a lot of power to be that reliable. It amazing as to how much power these things will make and last the way they do. Wish I could afford one of those intakes.
