Single Plane EFI and Elbow with boost? I love the look of this setup more than the torque loss would be. Is this still looked down upon for a 100% street truck? Curious about the Holley 4150 split single plane and elbow...
Running a Vic Jr and Aarons elbow in my 99 Camaro with an S484.
This setup starts making positive pressure around 3,000-3,500 rpm and if its down on torque I sure can't tell lol.
If you have a smaller turbo or twins it'll come on even faster and then it won't be as noticeable.

It’s a convoluted setup to me, but I’d say do what makes you happy.
I used one of the fabricated intakes in place of an LS6 for the appearance, knowing I’d loose some mid range. Haven’t really missed it, and I’m very pleased with the appearance.

That'll spool as fast if not faster than my S484 does.
Cam and converter play a big part as well, if you get those matched up with intended use, I don't think you'll see a really big difference in intakes.

I've been running the Super Vic for years, started with a Holley elbow before going to a 4 barrel throttle body. Both worked well, I don't miss any torque in a street car, they spin easy enough as it is. The Holley split intake looks nice, don't think you can go wrong there.
