The 5 liter whipple is here
These are the popular ones I can think of.
LSA 1900 650 to 700wheel
2300 8-900wheel
2650 1000+wheel
Giver or take a bit. Porting and other things can be a variable of course. Numbers will be higher with race gas or E85.
Shooting from the hip I'd think a 5 liter whipple has to be well north of 1500 horsepower capable.
That whipple is incredible btw!! A whole different game there for sure!@SR-71 Post a video of that monster when you're done!
Surging sucks plain and simple. anyone that like surging has a few screws loose in my opinion.

Going to make and post a video of it for us to drool.all over??? I have never heard a whipple sound quiet before in all of the offshore boats i've seen and chugged along side of in my 41 foot Apache and their engine compartments are all closed up and you can still hear them whining stoooopid loud from a distance and all covered up in their enclosed engine compartments. So perhaps you could contact, I think his name is Dustin and ask if there is anyway to get the whine louder. I am sure thats a very common question they get asked all the time and see what suggestions they have. Maybe I'm a wing nut but one of the things I asked BDS when I ordered mine for my vette was how I could make it whine as loud as possible and they suggested the pulley and belt upgrade which was an inexpensive upgrade to increase the whine so I went for iti think it was a 50 dollar upgrade if i remember correctly. I did it and my BDS blower never could whine like a whipple ...the 6-71 & 8....10...12...14.and 16-71s have their own unique whine sound but regardless it was music to my ears but I did wish it would have whined louder but it was clearly audible from a distance as it was when i finished that build.. ... I miss that car. I should build another blower motor out of this big block 1966 corvette 427 I have sitting here. It was built as a 900 hp blower motor but I only bought the long block but they did give me the blower intake manifold when I picked it up so maybe I can find a refurbished 8-71 and order a custom snout again.... I was more thinking of a "hair dryer" blower this time and not cut holes in hoods and have the top of the double barrel shot gun scoop sit as tall as the roof of the car because it's a real bitch to see around it... Especially when going around wide sweeping curves can't see a damn thing....
anyway im rambling.....
Let's hear it sir....
Best of luck in your build....

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
.as far as machined to be quiet...i have never heard a quiet whipple and the best most beautiful whipple setups are their offshore quad rotor whipples. Dual superchargers per big block x 2 or 3 big blocks in a boat. So you can imagine why alot of us use wireless or corded head sets to talk to others vs trying to yell over the blowers howling...
