New PB again, this time with some drama!

New PB again, this time with some drama! conditions were shady again so i didn't bother changing tires, going on a beach trip tomorrow so i left everything i normally lug around in the car, left the rear tires at 20psi fronts at 35. rears are again bfg 295 18" dr's.
again on pump gas (citgo!) w/single methanol nozzle (snow kit) regular water, no ice in the intercooler. biggest difference was i got a better short time.
so yesterday this guy pops up on a local board challenging me here's the link you can read it for yourselves.

well i was just hoping to make a decent showing against him. after the race i got a handshake and then i was bombarded by excuses and bad attitude...typical.
anyways, i'm happy as a pig in **** and cant wait to get back in her for the 3 hour drive to the beach tomorrow <-street car
will have video of the whine-fest after the run in a week or so.
not that i'm keeping track, but how does this et and mph stack up if anyone is keeping tabs of quickest/fastest dr ls1?

i was pumped too.. i was kinda embarassed for the guy to get beat like that after all the smack talk.
ya mustang had a 1.60 to my 1.84, that translates to a full half second head start in ET for him. although i did tree him .0054 to .1017 he was still ahead of me by .2 at the 1/8th.
all was same set up as i have been running, about 15psi.

lucky you had the MPH dave... he was all over you like **** on a monkey in the first 1000... When you getting a auto for that thing and run 9s? that MPH could have you in mid 9s ya know... get A3

I'll bet the guy in the Mustang had a big smile on his face for a few seconds until reality set in. MM I like the pure street racing, its the only way I've ever ran. I get beat up for my so-so times by guys with slicks and trans brakes and stripped cars. I'm glad to see you show the differences between running in street form vs race form. I'm still waiting for the ultimate grudge match though, you vs ROB RAYMER.

I know he parted out the motor and turbo to someone and is putting it back to stock... I know he sold his viper and bought a Z06 which I do believe he plans to strap a set of twins on. From what I remember Rob never really thought his viper was all that and at 500rw thought it was slow... I also know that he's been having issues with his web developer thus why his store is empty...
Anyway, I would like to see Raymer's tt-vette vs. Dave's single-formula...

You have some great traps. Who care about ET unless your your car is a pure drag car. Its all about teh mph. I bet if you caught that guy on the stree and went from a 60mph you would own him.

ownign smack talkers is about the best thign ever, always a great laugh to embarrass someone, especially a mustang owner, in front of their friends and girlfriend
once you are home i hope you can get to the track in a full race trim set up and see what that thing will really lay down. hehe
