Interesting, what did you have to retune for your idle?

that was so long ago but I’m sure I had to pull some fuel And add a little air. The idle got a lot weaker (it was wanting to die) with less gap. Putting iridium plugs helped a little to smooth it out vs regular Ngk plugs. I found it odd too.

I run br7efs in my car and ya the idle quality is pretty **** unless I idle it really lean like 16-17.5 afr. I’ve swapped in tr6s and it runs so much better but I switched back in fear of having detonation issues. Since we are on the subject anyone wanna recommend a safe plug for me? I’m “fine” running the br7s but if there’s a different plug that can give me better drivability and idle quality while remaining safe I’d switch in a heartbeat. Set up is an ly6 7875 e85 12-20 psi normally 12 just running around but I’ll flip the switch on my boost solenoid for 20 psi once per drive just to make sure I can still scare the **** out of myself. And every time is still does lol.

Ive done the switch from tr6 to br7 and really didn't notice much difference in idle quality at all. However when I was running the tr6 I was running max boost of 15psi as opposed to now at 20-22psi with a retune. But being in Canada harsh winters and firing the car up now and then..never had an issue with either plugs. I think it may be more tune related than just a plug swap issue. I feel like some other factors make it appear to be a plug issue when its more a oversight of something not as happy with either fueling or timing with the change of plug alone.
