Default Xotic head studs

I found this old post, but it was in external engine and seemed like a better location for here honestly. Anyone try them out and notice the quality being superior to basic china studs or same **** in a fancy package?

I’ve actually been around the diesel application ones and they’ve been fine. Packaging is good. Seem nicer to me than the eBay specials, which I’ve also used on the Turbo LS stuff and it’s been fine. I still use ARP on my personal stuff but it’s not for any real compelling reason besides known quantity.

Thanks I had seen a lot of that also. I just figured more would have used them by now if they were in fact any better than the china specials for $50-$80.

All I have to say is... I went to their site and they said their head studs were good because bolts are designed to stretch and their head studs don't. Wait...what??? Literally every bolt or stud designed to clamp two things together has to stretch in order to maintain clamping force. A company selling fasteners that fails to grasp that concept doesn't sit well with me.

I'm not a huge fan of the hands off support they seem to have from the posts I've found. It's highly likely it's an offshore product with good machining/finish work and just a address or face to appear local idk I hope to be proven wrong.
