Update, brand new prefilters and post filters along with a new 4303 pump and we are right back to good fuel pressure.
I think my attempts to clean the filters with brake clean and compressed air were a waste and moving forward I will just swap the filters out for new rather than try to clean them.
As for the original 4303 its going to magna fuel for them to check out and I will keep it for a spare or add it for a 2nd pump if needed down the road.
magnaflow recommended me to clean my filter with an ultrasonic cleaner (jewelry cleaner from harbor freight). worked great!
With E85 filters, I use straight 87 octane gas to clean them. Ultrasonic I'm sure is better but just dropping them in a jar full of gas seemed to do the trick for me. I'm on the paper "spin on" wagon now.

I’ve always heard the water separator wasn’t a good idea with ethanol. But I’ve often wondered if there was any actual data.
Zac do you need to drain it often? also is your ethanol from the pump or barrel?
