So I got the transmission pulled today, and this is the converter I pulled out of it. This was according to the guy I bought the truck from a pct 3800 converter. I would think a company like that would stamp there converters or have some kind of identification marks on it??? Is this a knock off or what?

Could send them a picture tomorrow? I doubt they made a 300mm 3800 stall though

that's what I was thinking too, usually 300mm is low stall. I may just get a new one.

to be honest it actually performed fairly decent. I was under the impression it was a pct the whole time and unless I pulled the tranny I would of never guessed from performance. it didnt truly stall that high but it would hold about 2800 rpm and i have consist runs with it when the truck was on Nitrous and a few pulls on the turbo and it never slipped or missed a beat. I actually told my buddy early it was ebay junk and his reply was it junk? It held up to everything I put it through. Also I'm 100 percent a budget builder but sometimes I bite the bullet when I know it's a must.

At my house already, went with 1.25 and 4 inch piping

In route to my house, this is what circle d recommended considered i stayed with the 4l60. I ordered a transmission from frank so im confident he can build me something that will last

Just tell yourself its a streetcar/truck and not a race car, that's what I do lol.
Tell her what I told my wife when she got bitchy about my car, "Sweetheart, I had this car before I met you and I'll still have it after you're gone." She hasn't said anything since.

lol that's what I tell myself, my local track is full of pro mods and cars on that level. Everyone of them has top dollars trailers, sponsors, 100,000 motors, it's not to many street cars anymore at the track so I know I can't race on there level so that's why I say I'll be OK with my 10 second pass, and my wife definitely knows the truck isn't going anywhere. She has he hobbies too so she doesn't say to much really. Just the usual little comments but I'm OK with that lol.

Props to circle d, haven't received the converter yet but I like how I went on the site and bought the converter and they emailed me a form asking for a break down of my truck down to the tire size. That's pretty neat, I guess that's what you get when you buy quality.

Keep all the packaging material as well because you may need to have the stall tweaked, its just one of those things when dialing in a new combo.
I ended up having mine re-stalled but they sent me a shipping coupon so shipping was super cheap.
Excellent customer service.

definitely will do but hopefully i dont have to do that. Would hate to pull the tranny yet again but will do if necessary. From ebay converter, eBay turbo and stock tranny I'm hoping for good results upon install with the new parts.
