Most Definitely!! Thanks guys and it's running good. I ripped it on the street and thought my transmission was slipping for a minute and then I looked behind me and realized I was blowing the tires off on a 60 mph pull. Long black tire marks lol. Iac down by like 50 degrees since we changed the intercooler too! Track day coming soon!

When the air gets good you can head over to No Problem Raceway or whatever your local track is.

I like state capital better, I may go tomorrow night. It still around the 80's until around 8 o'clock it drops to 79 degrees

lol yeh you right, I'm going to track it like it is just to see what it does then my next steps will be.
- billet grill to hide the new intercooler that is much larger then my previous one, I had to cut my stock grill to make it fit and the billet one I'm looking at will fit
-upgrading the brakes to drill and slotted rotors
- cal tracs
- putting tracking control where the abs goes and hooking it to the holley

Cal Tracs will be a game changer, a guy I knew did a Procharged truck with Cal Tracs/coil overs and would put sandbags in the back to help it hook on the street, it actually worked quite well.
Invest in some good coil overs too, I have Vikings on my current car and am pretty happy with them, great performance for the price.
I'd do as you're thinking and get it good and dialed in with the current engine/suspension setup.
Then when you do change, you'll have solid data to refer to.

I haven't really had traction issues at the track in the past but it is making a good bit more power then it was the last time I took it too. I just want to see what it does first. My tuner has traction control on his fox body mustang and its 1300 wheel and it hooks on the street so I definitely think it's possible.

I went ahead and ordered the traction bars, brakes, & grill. It will all come in this week so I'll put that stuff on this week and take it to the track next Friday.

Gotta get some in car footage and some launch footage from the track.
We need time slips too!
Really glad you stuck it out and kept going on this project, there were a few times I was expecting to see a for sale add with all the challenges you kept having.
Well done my friend.

it's definitely coming soon, the few parts I ordered will be here this week and I'm hoping to have them on before Friday because our local track has test n tune Friday. The only thing I'll be waiting on is the grill which will be here next Monday but that ain't stopping me from going to the track, and there was no way I was giving up after all the work I've put in to get this truck where it's at. My wife probably wishes i would have though.
