Help burning wires
That hotside immediately made me a fan of factory manifolds.
If you can move the coils under the manifold and run wires up, that would be ideal.
Otherwise, ceramic wires, lots of heat shielding and cross your fingers.
You can download it for free but have to pay for a license to make any changes.

What if those 2 holes didn't have the intersecting tube opening in them?
1 time in many yrs with the GN's, I found a log style tubular manifold that had virtually no intersecting opening.
That cyl was super hot. The tube glowed bright red in just a few seconds under boost.
That cyl was virtually plugged, and several others were way less than a match for the intersecting pipe.
I would work on plug routing and shielding before making any major changes provided there isn't something glaringly wrong with the tune.

He has tuned all my turbo cars and they've always made excellent power and lasted longer than I would have expected, especially the SBE stuff.
You don't send your ECU, he does it via email back and forth until you're happy.
He tunes via several different platforms, HPT, Holley, EFI Live, etc.

Downloading HP Tuners is free, just go to their website, you'll have to pay for a license and then buy the cable to connect to the truck.
With those items you can datalog and tune which is very helpful.
There is a myriad of videos on YouTube by ChopperDoc that can help you setup HP Tuners datalogging as well as all the great folks on here.
I datalog almost every time I go out unless I intend on easy cruising leaving the compressor off.
What you will do is scan the truck while driving or making a pull, send the scan to Pat, he makes adjustments and sends you a tune, you upload and repeat.
When you're happy, your done.
I went back and forth with Pat for almost a year because I broke some stuff while tuning and he waited until I fixed it and we picked it up again.
Can't speak highly enough about him.

I ended up going with the BR7EF which is supposed to be the replacement for it, I guess?
Additionally, I was told it might be too cold for a street use plug, but they seem to work just fine in my car gapped at .022 or .024, I can't remember lol.

Might turn the lights off, press the brakes hard and load up the turbo. See if the 2 runners (or any) glow bright orange.
I’ve never heard of a plug cracking from heat alone. If he’s detonating the crap out of it, maybe… but I’d guess they are man handling the plug at install due to awkward angles and hard to access plugs. Also inspect the plugs really well before install. I’ve seen a lot of new plugs cracked.
