Default Turbo Pressure Gauge MAP/EMAP

Hi ALL, the most perfect Turbo Boost gauge I owed was originally fitted to a B-24 Bomber, WW-II.
I painted one of the TWO pointers, one on top of the other, Red and the other Blue.
The Red pointer was used to measure EMAP and the Blue to measure MAP.

I’ve heard a couple of the ‘big names’ mention using map:emap as a ve table axis instead of the traditional map:atmosphere

So, instead of regarding bosst as Absolute pressure, we are measuring Intake manifold Boost MINUS Exhaust back pressure, essentially focusing on differential manifold pressure?

No it’s not minus it’s a ratio

Default Delta/Pressure at Crossover

Hi ALL, I hoped that this thread would into information about D/P.
When the Turbo engine is in "crossover" it will make great power with little chance of engine damage.
What is YOUR record amount?

Yeah you see it at pikes peak as it accounts for the changes in altitude as they run up the hill. It actually accounts for many things without having other tables added in like baro correction etc.

Please share units. Emap/map should be a ratio not inches ?

No personal experience, seen a number of race cars make more boost than drive though. Often times they will quote the peak difference which is at mid-rpm, as the revs rise it will normally reverse though, or the gap will close up to almost nothing. You actually do get to see some meaningful testing of this in the diesel world.

Seems like a useful piece of data.
What would you expect the eMAP RATIO to do as boost activated cut-out OPENED ?
Say your 'test' engine/compressor combo is limited at 12 PSI manifold through 2.75" single pipe and stock factory muffler, than introduce a Y-pipe, and 3" cutout begins open 6PSI, full open by 9PSI
How does shape of eMAP graph change ? steeper or FLATTER ?
