Dart 402 block, 10.5 compression, Tooley Trick Flow cnc heads, F1a blower..
My new set up; can’t wait for the dyno numbers!
New Dart 402 block, 10.5 compression, Tooley Trick Flow cnc heads, F1a blower, max effort. E-85. .650 inch lift blower cam.
I am using my custom stand off stud I made with a double idler pulley for the blower set up.
Standard 4 inch pro-charger coolers with custom piping.
Fit perfect!
Dana 60 rear end, with 18 inch vette magnesium rims, along with Brembo V brakes up front.
I am excited to see the dyno numbers!

Will dyno next week. Let’s see what we pull.
I did not want to cut the front bumper for a front mount.
It’s a sleeper, has stock rear exhaust with an electronic dump.
The custom pipes are killer though! I am happy with the work.
The blower is left over from the old motor I blew.
I know I would pick up much more power with the 94 F1A.
I am curious what we will put down. I will post when the results come back.

We have 4 inch tubes on the bottom, and 3 inch tubes going to the top of the motor.
The coolers are as big as a race front mount only cut in half.
I did not want to cut the front bumper on this 17k mile car.
The only thing is, it needs more blower I believe.
This blower has less than 500 miles on it, before I smoked the last motor.

Maybe. However the cross sectional area of the tubes is larger with the dual pipe system.

Interesting. I'm at 10.6 to 1 static compression with 20 psi of boost from an F1a-94 on ethanol and meth injection my IAT barely gets above ambient with a large air to air even without the meth, but I still love the meth injection. Having an air to water intercooler in a daily driver just seems like more problems to deal with.

I haven't tried ice water yet, but I'd imagine that's where it will shine over an A2A setup.
On pump gas my IAT's are usually right around ambient +/- 5-10 degrees with the pump off, with the pump on they are at ambient consistently, even making multiple hits.
The temp will go up a little during the run and then come right back down as soon as I lift.

It wouldn't have been my choice either, the car came with it, and it works well so I figured why mess with it.

I'm really surprised more people don't use meth injection with e85. I know it's not needed, but I've been really happy using it and with e85 if you don't tune to the ragged edge if the meth failed it wouldn't be catastrophic.

My IAT runs at ambient playing on the street doing part throttle pulls and kicking her sideways here and there. The IAT actually goes down during wot pulls, but this could be misleading since I'm spraying meth injection 8" or so before the sensor. After a pull it still stays below ambient for a while unless I stop and sit for a while idling then it will slowly creep up. ECT runs at 180 degrees in all conditions. 19 degrees timing peak with 10.6 static compression and 20 psi of boost and plugs show it could take more, but I don't want to push it. Air to air just seems better for a daily driver, but I agree if it was already there, and works might as well stick with it.

I know guys make their own or buy $300 kits but I wanna lean on this one and try and get my boost into the 20+lb. range on pump gas.

I didn't use a kit. I like stewart warner pressure switches with dual high-quality relays. I use a check valve and single nozzle with a simple on/off no progressive controller. I use a 7gph nozzle all in at 4 psi of boost. No issues at all going all in at low boost. If you use windshield washer fluid or some of the 50/50 premix which likely aren't actually 50% then you might have issues going all in at that low of boost.
Honestly if I could only choose one or the other E85 or pump with meth injection I'd go E85 every time because it is superior, but using meth injection plus e85 is amazing.

I am kinda scared E85 may not be enough honestly?
