I was an early adopter of a Nitrous Express Maximizer progressive nitrous controller, around 2001(?). I highly recommend one for anybody using nitrous. They are cheap now for a basic model, which will work just fine for most people. Helps traction and keeping the bottom end together.
He'd spent several years roll racing the car in that configuration, so he had it well dialed in.

Nitrous is definitely fun and could be pretty reliable in a daily driver. My old C6Z ended up with some nitrous and it did some work on the street. Trapped 150mph on only a 150shot. I have a 250 shot on my current C6Z and did one hit the other day... The 60-130 was pretty slow cause I forgot to purge it and it spun when it finally started to come in, but the 100-150 was pretty quick at a 4.15sec. Still not optimal on that. Had it shut off too early so killed some time.

I went to the track with the 150hp pills, that lasted one pass and then the 250hp pills went in lol.
Solid it to friend of mine who put some small chamber aluminum heads on it but neglected to check PTVC and scattered the whole engine.
Lame.
