Default Valve springs

Running a 212/218 550/500 cam, ls6 valve springs, currently fabbing up a twin turbo deal. What's a good dual valve spring to use with a lower lift cam. Will be under 15psi boost. Just a street car.

Depends on how high you plan on spinning it.

I like the Brian Tooley Racing SK-001 as a general spring kit. Best bet would be to call up the company that made the cam and have them spec a spring for how much RPM you want it to be able to take.

This engine won't get spun really high, I honestly haven't spun it over 6,000 rpm.

I'd just scoop up a set of BTR .660 drop in springs, yes, it's overkill but you'd never have to worry about it and they're only slightly more than the used springs listed above.

Why do you want dual springs? They are heavier and totally unnecessary on that super mild cam. The ls6 are fine as is. A PAC-1218 would be a great "upgrade" if those are tired. The BTR ls6 equivalate springs are nice as well and cost very little with a bit more pressure than a standard ls6.

You don't want something like a .660 lift dual spring with a bunch of added weight and unnecessary valvetrain pressure. It will just add wear and tear. Also running a 660 lift spring at 500 lift messes up the spring dynamics as it will never hit the areas of lift it was designed to.

I ran 26lbs with 2.8:1 back pressure with pas 1218's and an ls9 cam. That's almost 73psi pre turbo! Never floated a valve. Not that I could tell anyway... you'll be fine.
