Yeah I'm gonna throw in some stiffer springs and see what she says. I was just overthinking the situation trying to make sure it wasnt some bigger issue.

I don't have a set psi in mind currently. I don't wanna go over say 10-12 lbs without getting it tuned by someone who took more than one tuning course haha

yeh id get all the lines ran right and most real tuners will work with you on charging springs in the wastegate when tuning your car so you can achieve the level your aiming for unless of course something comes up that may limit you.

If you need tuner recommendations, Pat G. has done a great job for me tuning my pump gas cars.
Both cars have been run up around 14 lbs. on pump fuel only for years now.
Since he's remote, he uses scans from your drives to dial in the tune on the street, so you get a really nice driving car and he'll work with you until you're happy.

I have a 4 port solenoid, 6psi springs. I make 4psi on the gate and around 90% duty cycle I make 24-25psi. I think you need to get rid of the two solenoids and get a 3 port for low boost or a 4 port for a wider range. Be award that a 4 port has less resolution and small changes are recommended because you might overshoot your boost desired. You are over complicating things right now. You are definitely not blowing the spark out. Timing and AFR play a part in the boost you make too...a small amount... and affects the spool rate.

I have my solenoid hooked directly to the discharge on my turbo. I have a three port on there at the moment and it gets 10psi max (4 port was acting up, think it was the connector). heres how mine is hooked up as a 4 port or a three port:

Port "A" or "1" (depending on brand) Goes to the top of the wastegate (dome)
Port "B" or "2" goes to the bottom
Port "C" or "3" goes to the discharge on the turbo

If you have a 4 port, leave the 4th port open
If you have a 3 port... then your done. Start low on duty cycle so you get a feel for what its going to do.

heres a diagram for you.

If you're using the compressor as the pressure source in your Holley boost controller you'll need to crank up the PID settings a bit to get things working faster. At least that's what I've found on my setup. I'm using a TNT 88mm T6 and my PID settings are 12, 35, 0 50 psi/sec target rate limiter

Update: Shut the boost controller off and put a 9lb spring in and it made 7.4lbs and ran like a freight train. Still undecided if I just leave it with wastegate or run co2 since it's just a street at. Probably won't see the track until I get a beefier trans and rear end

Or just figure out the boost controller. Either way you go CO2 or using the compressor you'll still need the controller to work

This ^^^
Get the controller working as the boost will come on faster and steadier.
Plus, you could wick it up a little more on pump gas which you will want to do.
