Hi Ram vs Pro Flo I’m building a turbo 5.3 ls foxbody trying to decide between intake Hi Ram or Pro Flo looking for feed back to help decide. I like the Pro Flo because I can run a smaller cowl hood but if the Hi Ram outperforms it greatly I will go with it.
I run a ProFlow. Because, at the time I bought it, one of the class leaders in Ultra Street/Extreme Street was using one. When I spoke to him about it, he said he had tested all the different ones available at the time, and the ProFlow was the winner. This was in 2016 time frame.
Obviously, the nice thing about the Hi Ram is that you can use an integrated I/C if you so desire.

I believe way back when the two intakes tested within a couple hp of each other.
If you go with the ProFlo get the LS2 version. It has the std 4 bolt throttle body pattern.
The LS1 version accommodates the 3 bolt Camaro/truck throttle body. The std 4 bolt won’t fit.
I bought mine back in 2013, and still run the little 3 bolt TB.
It was about $400. My how times have changed.
