need help please -- problems with twin turbo setup still

Default need help please -- problems with twin turbo setup still

Ok, finally got back into town after 2 weeks of letting the car sit. Here are the vitals and info on whats going on for those that missed the first post.

2000 T/A
stock shortblock
ported 6.0 heads (Noyzee's old heads)
Cam motion hydraulic cam -- small, similar to Noyzee's old cam
bosch external pump
braided line front to back including return line
Noyzee's twin turbo setup complete down to the oil pan.

Here is the problem. The passenger side manifold heats up to red hot at IDLE in about 5 minutes (driver side is totally fine). This is still initial startup basically -- the car has not seen anything above idle yet.

Pressure is dead on at 58psi and rock steady.

I found some exhaust leaks and fixed those, that didn't fix the problem. Checked the turbo -- spins freely so thats allright.
Then swapped the injectors side to side -- still didn't fix the problem so I'm sort of stuck.
I'm getting a misfire from cylinder 1 (don't know where that is coming form yet but that wouldn'g cause the other side to heat up like that????)
And the passenger side 02 is reading .800 V at idle.

Any help would be great cause I need to get this thing running!!

swap front O2 sensors

Yeah, still haven't figured it out. Just got back from 2 week vacation and getting back to it.

Swapped 02 sensors allready -- forgot to mention that.

Can't swap the turbos as one is "clearanced" for the driver's side.

man I cant think of what would cause something like that, I have hte same kit looking to start install here soon, hopefully your done by then if not ill help ya as much as possible

You probably have a melted wire, causing that misfire. I went through hell with melting wires, amongst other things.

a dee o,
I was wondering what do you do about the wires they look like there in there pretty close to everything,
also do you happen to have any sort of instruction manual for the kit?

Check and make sure that the valves are closing on the passenger side head. You may have an exhaust valve that is not at the same hight and its not fully seating due to too much preload.

i would put your stock manafold back on at that side and see if it that heats up like it. that would tell you if its your engine or turbo manafold or kit.

69 -- I'm always more than willing to help or give insight on the kit -- just shoot me a PM anytime if you have questions. I know I wouldn't have been able to do this without Noyzee's help.

Talking with a friend last night I also came up with to much preload as a possibility. Thats the next thing.

Can you identify which exhaust port the heat is coming from? Maybe try letting it heat up in the dark and see which one turns red first.
