Default What mod to do next?

I only run the 1/4 in pure street form. Last night. 11.38 & 11.57 at 125mph. I am staying with the stock rear and Nittos. So I've pretty much resigned to the fact that my 60's are in the 1.7 to 2.05 range depending on the track that day. That said I am now focusing on MPH, I would like to bump it up some. It seems consistent in the 125-126 range. Only doing engine mods what do you think I should look at? I was thinking a ported throttle body or a FAST intake with 90mm throttle body. Maybe that Spectacle Solution Vortech lid. Maybe a FMIC (my IAT's hit 160-165 during runs) or maybe an ice box reservoir. My cam is small (214-224,114 .525, .535) so maybe higher ratio rockers (I don't want to change the cam). Any other suggestions?

Bigger head unit!

next id do a Ice box resivor unless you are maxing out the efficency of your A2W IC.

remember the Fast intake youll have to epoxy that sensor in.

or can you do a pulley change?

the only real way to up the MPH is to get more air in it. all the others might raise it about 1-2mph. better more efficent intercooller might bring it up a little to.
but if you can add about 3 more lbs of air and keep those IAT down (160's not to bad, but id might be raised if your forcing more air through it) you could be trapping 130's

Get with SJH...I bet he can tell you what to do next. What is your raceweight? How many psi are you seeing?

i would do a large coolant tank in the back, that should help your iat's a lot.

a front mount, with a vortech headunit is not easy, without going to a different mounting bracket.

I don't want to do a major change like a new head unit. I don't want to spin the blower any faster (I have the 2.75 pulley). Where do you get an ice box for the trunk? That does sound doable. I won't do nitrous.

Did you sell the T-trim and go with the Turbotech race kit? I just think if I was going to do nitrous I might as well have done a direct port and never mess with forced induction. Is he going to open up the inlet to the aftercooler or both ends?

yes...and...yes

he likes the aftercooler that came with the race kit..so he might try and redo the whole system..still sitting on top though...just bigger
