Default Initial SDCE Tensioner Results

After some brief street testing the SDCE set-up has held up well ( Scott and Wendy). Keep in mind the car has not been tuned properly yet, the last tune was put in about 20 miles before today so the PCM has not finished "learning" and most importantly my fuel set-up sucks .

12 PSI @ 6000 RPMS thru the ATI Twin IC's

The tensioner is sitting around 12-13 on the indicator so I need to tighten it up a bit to ensure no slippage but it didn't feel as if it was slipping during a quick run.

Here's the problems for me at least the fuel pressure went from 60PSI down to 35 PSI so it looks like that's the last hard run I make until I get my Racetronix P&P with a pump booster and FPR (which should be in a week or so )

Mark,

What size blower pulley? 3.4" ????? 12 psi is awsome thru a built 408.

Yea, my tensioner is at 12-13, I'm running the 3.4" pulley and see a consistent 11psi with my 370 motor with a 214/218 cam.......I ordered a 3.2" I want more boost

Yep 3.4, It jumps to 10 psi at about 5000 rpms pretty quick then gradually climbs to 12. I may try a 3.2 down the road but I need to get other issues resolved (fuel) and a good tune before I tweak it....if I do at all .

Yea, I will see 12 on a GOOD night, hopefully with just the 3.2" it will bump me to at least 14psi, then when I put the FMIC on I hope to gain at least another 2psi and be able to bump up the timing to use this 100 octane gas I'm running at little better than I currently am.....

I also got to send my TQ converter back to get looked at, I think its got major slippage

What timing are you running now? I'm at 18 degrees with 100 Octane and no alky. Hope to get up around 20 with tuning and alky.

Aftermarket fuel rails??? Stock feed and return?? dual intanks should work for you and that is all you should need if you have the other stuff done.
