Default Who got the highest boost readings from a D-1SC?

I was just wondering did anyone get 16-17psi from a D-1SC? If not what was the highest boost levels from a D-1SC on a LS1? Whats your pulley setup(BP and CP sizes)? Also please list the mods.

Are you asking who has the most restrictive motor with a D1-SC?

Yea, I see 12 consistently, but by the looks of it, I'll be going to and F1 and most likely using my 3.4" pulley, at 6500rpms that would put me 700rpms over the blowers 70,000rpm max, I'll have a FMIC on that, 100 octane, and hopefully around 17psi

I want to sneak a cam in before it comes out again, but we will see, my FMIC should be here next week

I had plans to push the D1SC real hard upcoming, I ordered a 3.2" pulley, that with the FMIC would put me around 16-17psi Right now though in its current state, its bein spun 14,000rpms before its max........

Almost any motor that runs 16psi better be built very well. I never saw anyone in my life running 16psi on a stock LS1 with stock manifolds and exhaust (That would be just stupid). So im sure the people who are going to post what the max they got out of a D-1SC will be well setup for all that extra boost (which means their engine flows really well).

383 All-bore, ported blower heads, LT headers, high speed collectors, 8.5:1 compression. Basically fully built with everything you can throw at it.

The engine is not that restrictive if that is what you are getting at. On a full bolt-on 346, at the same blower speed it would be over 18 psi.

Just saying u might want to focus on pulley sizes, blower rpm and flow instead of psi.

Your info could really help alot of us out...... What size Crank Puley? the 7.25 that comes with the SDCE kit?? Were do you shift so we know how many RPM's you are spinning the blower at?? All 3" hard piping? Intercooler Dimensions?? Bypass valve? Sorry for all the question, but my FMIC shows up today and i am currently running the SDCE 8 rib w/ a 3.7" blower pulley shifting at 6600rpm and i was thinking about going with a 3.2" RR blower pulley. I should be pretty close to your boost levels with my 370. any RWHP numbers? Track numbers?
Thanks
Kyle

I spin the blower at 56k to 58k

ATI Race BOV

There is only one piece of piping forming a U from the blower to the intercooler (about 1.5' long)

Intercooler core is 1500 CFM spearco core (I forget the dimension). Custom end tanks (baffled)

To get the D1 up to that speed you basically have to pin and key everything, run a better balancer (ATI superdamper), and the SDCE tensioner. I can't stress the importance of alignment. Also it helps to keep the SC pulley above a 3.2 size. Try to size your cam accordingly to put the engine peak power north of 6000.

The big component to reaching this goal is the SDCE kit. Without it there is little chance of reaching this kind of boost/flow combination.

I'll agree with the SDCE comment, the FMIC along with the ATI valve help a lot too, that stocker POS can't do the job right w/the normal kit
