Maybe turbo's are different than superchargers but I consider them all forced induction. I raced a procharged SS on the street from a first gear roll and put two cars on him to the end of third. He claimed he had 480whp.

S/C and turbochargers operate entirely different. Turbos are much more efficient at creating power b/c they don't rely on the crank power like S/Cs do. Turbos use exhaust gases to force air into the motor.

A turbo car will make more power/tq versus a S/C car equally setup.

I have a 427 MTI superstroker.

I don't street race.

However, my brother was driving my car last night and put around 25 cars on an LS1 from a 20 MPH roll to 120 MPH with (just using it a reference point):

G5X2, LS6 intake, ASP, LTs, MN6, and all the other bolt ons.

SStolen, I suggest you read this: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question122.htm

It explains how these two modes of F/I work.

SSTolen- Your talking an awful lot of talk for a very slow car.

I saw what your car ran on kyfbodies, my times with headers, airlid and cutout and no tuning ran faster than what your car does now with headers,cam,ls6 intake yada yada yada.

You only live an hour away do you want to try and play with me? I am cam only g5x2. I will slaughter you and than **** on your tires.

Well, that was my brother and the passenger of the defeated cars agreed upon gap

I wasn't there. My brother was supposed to be just tuning my car, not preying on lil' ole cammed 346 LS1.s

My god! It's been awhile since I read so much BS and factual info in one post.

Some of you need to get your head out of your **** and do a lil research before posting.

Lag is barely noticable when the right turbo is chosen. Don't tell me otherwise because I own one, I know.

A 400rwhp N/A car beat a 460rwhp Turbo car all things being equal? Are you out of your mind???

I think you're fighting an uphill battle Cannibal. At least someone in here has their facts straight LOL

I got to go for a ride in a bone stock formula with the "beta" STS kit today. It was in its full boost by 3000 rpm's. Kit felt good and had no tune. For the money you cant beat this kit. I would take it over a off the shelf Procharger kit anyday.

Gordon, thanks for taking some time to look at the kit. It always helps when someone with experience like yourself see's the value in this kit and lets others know.

on the 25 car lengths to 120...there is no way...i would say you have maybe a high 10 sec car with a 427 superstroker..and that cammed car maybe mid 11's...that is not 25 cars

It was an agreed upon approximation with my brother and the passenger of the car. I wasn't even there.

Let's just say it was a shitload to keep the # crunchers happy.
