supercharged dyno #'s...
Okay, I have a question I want answered. When you guys go to the dyno and do a few pulls, does the dyno operator go through the gears lightly and then floor it in 4th gear like any other dyno pull? Or do they run every gear up high and then go all out in 4th? I understand that superchargers are dependent on RPM's, but say for instance you did a pull and lightly went through the gears and then at around 2000 rpm in 4th gear, you put it to the floor and went up to redline. Would your #'s be any different if you went through the other gears any quicker to keep the RPM's up? I read a post on another forum about someone saying that their #'s would have been higher had the dyno guy went through the gears quicker. That doesn't make sense to me because regardless if you started at 2000 rpm or 4k rpm, your still going to wind it up to redline and the boost will kick in also. Can anyone explain this more?

hold the revs at 2500 in fourth and punch it

This isnt an F-Body. Sorry I should have corrected that. Basically, what I want to know is, could this hold true in any given car or situation. i dont think it would....

I'd check their gear ratios.
