Any Good FI Tuners in the NJ area??
I have been looking for this for some time now. I will be going with an STS kit within the next couple of weeks and was wondering if there are any good/reputable tuners in the NJ area that can tune my truck after I install it?
I am in the Newark area if that helps anyone with information.
Thanks

p.s: can't wait to FI my beast

Both TTP and Cartek are in North Jersey, and they both have in house dyno's and experience with both LS1's and Forced Induction. You probably won't be able to get Cartek to tune your car though if it isn't one of their packages.

Cartek tuned me with my own parts (headers, converter) cool guys...I definetly will go back to them if I ever go with FI, ir cam, or nitrous

ECS isn't doing F-body cars AFAIK. That leaves you with the Vette Doctors and Cartek. You would have to call those shops to see if they even support the F-Bodies. Just because a shop does extensive work on the LS1 doesn't mean they will work on an F-Body.

I don't think SLP would work on a non "Street legal" car or truck. Being I am turboing my AV and have highflow cats and such I doubt they would even look at my vehicle let alone tune it.
I may be wrong though

Bonedog, what have you found out from the tuners? Any issues with people taking your vehicle since it is a truck?

The issue is regular ls1 edit doesnt work, you need truck edit. so im sur if you bout the softwear, NoGo from ESP would tune it no problem, he did an 02 or 03 avi with a magna charger not to long ago
