Default Thinking of getting a ProCharger

I have a 01 T/A WS6 M6 with QTP Lt's, MTI lid, and a Flowmaster exhaust. Right now I have 343 rwhp and 354 lbs of tq and I would like to get to at least 450 rwhp. I am keeping the bottom end stock so I don't want to run too much boost. Should I get the P-1SC-1 with 7lbs or the D-1 with 8lbs? What set up's are you guys running and what other mods do you have?

Go D1SC if you can. I would have from the start. Helps to do a little research first.

I'm no help because I'm in the same state of confusion.
I can't determine which way to go either.
I'm getting a Procharger this much I know.
Why are we having such a hard time with choosing between the P-1SC and the D-1SC. What I know so far is that the D-1SC has a better fan in it. It moves more air. But the P-1SC develops boost a little faster than the D-1SC.
I don't plan on any major future power adders so the P-1SC might the ticket. I want to know of the two which one would last longer over time and which one is louder. I want to hear that whistle/whine!!

Boost is addiction. You think you won't want more, but you will. My suggestion is get the D1. It's a small price now, but upgrading in the future will cost far more. Both units are built well. No idea on which is louder or will last longer.

I'm thinking about getting a procharger too. If I get the D1 what would I have to do to the motor?

I was thinking of getting the D-1SC with 8#, but with that much boost it would put me around 550 rwhp. How much rwhp is safe for my stock bottom end?
