Default Need help with Procharger Bypass !

Just bought an ATI Race Bypass but it didn't come with any instructions. Where/how do I put this thing in ? It came with one aluminum flange.

Thanks for any input

AH crap no instructions.... and a aluminum flange...... thats crap too...... I was looking at this Bypass..... I guess ill just go with the Tial 50MM BOV.... Did they give you a choice if you wanted Stainless Steel or Aluminum flange??... Im sure BOS will chime in he has one.

Well ... even though it's brand new ... I bought it off ebay from a guy that was going to use it but ended up selling his car. It looks like a quality piece and I can't complain ... I got a pretty good price on it.

In the meanwhile ... I found this pic ... I'm wondering if I'm gonna have to do some custom work to make it fit.

You can order it with the alum. or stainless. You will have to have the flange welded onto the pipe/upper plenium. I cut a hole in the back of the upper plenium on the passengerside and mounted the flange there. Mark had the steel flange and had it welded onto the small tube where the stock ATI bypass valve hooks onto the driverside pipe and we both installed a filter on the inlet hat where the stock bypass valve hooks up to give the supercharger more air.

Ok guys... I would like to put this on.

I have 2 questions for you guys.

1) WHo can fabricate a pipe like the one pictured above to mount my bypass
to ?

2) With the stock bypass setup, there's a pipe/tube that holds the ATI stock
bypass and connects the air inlet hat with the piping that goes to the air
plenum. When I attach the race bypass (I'm assuming it will vent to
atmosphere and not back into the air inlet hat), how do I block off that
section that I mentioned above.

thanks guys

Go here and look at my pics.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=ATI+BOV

I sold this to TwnTurboCE and I don't think he needs the pipe. He may be willing to send you the pipe if you send him your Flange, Stub Pipe and a few bucks. This will fit on your car without any hassle.

thanks, I'll send him a PM. So did you block off the open area in the air inlet hat when you installed the bypass ?

Hmmm ... twnturboce user could not be found. Was that his handle ?

Look on the boosted list for his screen name..... Put another filter on the inlet hat were that piping went before.... more air will help.
