Z98 needs to R>C>P himself.. SWYOP (start with your own posts)... Rarely does your original post match what you claim you were asking about. What is the fixation on 630 hp? I take it back about you being an 'expert' -- most of the experts I've seen at least have a basis they are will to discuss and trade differences with. You strike me as an ULDWDEEEPHOSBHHNTS (uber leet dude who doesnt ever ever ever post his own setup because he has nothing to show).

Step up or step off. Not everyone can hang out up on the porch.
I believe the 630 is geared at me since I put that down with my current ati at 10psi, its in the sig

Well, I will step up. I apologize to everyone on this board for loosing my temper. I was rubbed the wrong way, and it was probably done just to push people’s buttons.
And guess what? I took the bite. This does not excuse my behavior.
I consider myself a personable man, and I honestly wish nothing but good will to my fellow enthusiasts. I lost my cool and posted words that I rarely use.
From this point on, I will completely ignore any posts he makes.

5-litre... I will say this again, I hope you post some good numbers. Not because it is an STS kit, just because I want you to do well. I am sorry for polluting your thread. Good luck to you.

Sincerely, Paul

This was kinda the focus of my posts.

How much does it cost to make an STS kit that can compete with the high hp kits?

Obviously the $3500 kit won't do it, but how much more money does it cost to get it there?

$1000? $2000? $3000? I haven't got a straight answer for the one single simple thing I've asked multiple times already.

I guess we won't know until someone is making good numbers with it and is willing to share their setup?

under 5500 with gt70,electronic boost controller, BOV, front mount etc etc. Thats for the whole thing. I paid 4400 plus 1300 for my 8 rib and ATI, 400 for BOV, and that was getting a deal. GO look at tbyrnes ATI with 8 rib option and look how much, that doesnt include the race ready BOV.

Wildman, you were not the one I was calling on to step up or step off.

Z98 -

This was kinda the focus of my posts.
Really? I thought the purpose of your posts was a little bashing, a little backpedalling, and a little obfuscation.

you've been answered about 80 times. The cost of the kit + a turbo upgrade and whatever options you want, plus the SAME COSTS that anyother high boost kit would have for fuel and low end mods or H/C. Now, 5le has given it too you exactly. Your turn.

Shut up.

No one even came close to answering that until JUST NOW.

Your turn.
Not really my turn.

I've said all I've needed to say.

Now we just wait for numbers and track times.

I'm the troll because I won't keep rehashing the same 3 points over and over again?

Whatever.

Time will tell which one of us is right.

I only wanted to see some track times. No one with a STS F-Body can run the track... I'd even settle for the big excuse gang with the 38,000,000 ft DA and all that stuff... Anybody, anybody, Bueller?

After all, even a 630 RWHP car should do a 10.60 @ 136 in a 3800 lb pig, right? I haven't that number published either, though it was a mighty D1...

The only guys with an STS F-body only go to the track maybe once a year so that kills my area. You'll just have to settle for STS Truck times.

....the 427 "ZL1" featured on gm hightech mag, (which by the way was built by a sponsor) has 600rwhp and does 11.35 if remember correctly.

i guess 427 ls1 engines "can't run on the track".

how pointless.

If 427's costs the same as a FI kit we'd ALL have them.

That post was very random. Wrong topic maybe?

hey, just a bump.... whats the progress on either of the two cars that were expecting completion and times in October? I am a member of another forum, and am taking a lot of grief for my interest in the STS system for my little hybrid project that seems to be begging for the STS. I posted a few links from this forum there, so that some of the insta-doubters could see some feedback from actual owners of STS systems. Dont think they are reading, but I can copy and paste with the best of them.....
Great forum, dont let the trolls take over, lol.

Signature? oh yeah... 1971 Datsun 240Z, 87 Camero 350/TPI, 700R trans, 4Runner front calipers, vented rotors, otherwise stock. Awaiting a rotisserie and restoration, then the works, including LS1, T-56, Quaife LSD, yadda, yadda, yadda on the brakes, 5-lug hubs, suspension, body mods, Fuel cell, ect... looking into STS.
