Hey what do you know, with a little additional triming it fits. The compressor housing is about 5/8in from the radiator.

dude stand the radiator straight up you will be amazed with the room that is actually there. On another note are you one of the guys using the back wards truck manifold or do u have tubular headers?

Yea it's only about 1.5in away but I have a turbine blanket that's going over it to help cut down the heat. Hopfully it'll work alright.

For the time being i'm gonna run the DP under the K-member but i'm still thinking about pulling the A/C.

The exhaust housing will be fine that close to the radiator.... that's exactly how mine is and no problems so far.

Looks good man! Damn, I should have bought that turbo and made it fit my kit.. I might still. Is your radiator in the stock location with respect to the angle?... looks to be pulled up some, I guess that's the trimming you had to do? I will have to do that if I don't remake the Y of my kit.

Thanks

The radiator is only about a inch from being vertical right now.

I'm just using stock 00 manifolds facing towards the back of the car. Here's a pic of the finished piping from the manifolds to the turbo.

Thanks man, I had to tilt the rad. up ALOT probly about 4in but the hood still closes fine with plenty of clearance.
I guess i'm kinda the test dummy for this turbo on LS1's, If it does well like I think it will Then everone else can go out and buy them.

What type of fans are you going to be using? And they will obviously be front mounted right?

I'm using twin 10in spals mounted on the front. I'm starting to worry that I might have over heating problems but I guess we'll get to that once it's up and running.
