Question How does everyone like there SDCE bracket?

I talked to Scott today about my slippage problems and it seems like this setup is the way to go. But on an iron block what do u bolt it to there there is no boss to tap on the one inside hole for the alternator bracket. I already drilled and tapped the hole on the outside of the block. I think when i get my car back i want to try this out. Beings every one is haveing good luck with it. I wonder if this is gonna be the magic ticket for me to my problems not makeing boost like the car is pullied for. Other than the cam. I talked to Rob today and said it should be ready thursday provided he has no snags. Justin

Should have tapped the hole for the Alt Bracket before you put the motor back in. As far as the SDCE.... . Everything bolts back up like the factory ATI stuff for the most part. Good luck....sounds like you have a badass ride when your done.

I did tap the hole before i put the motor back in. On the iron blocks there is one boss that is not there like it is on the aluminim block. That the one i was wonderin about what people has done who has iron block and this setup.

SDCE definitely delivers on their claims. You won't regret this purchase.

DA DA DA..... Here i am to save the day.......... ha ha

You should line up the altenator bracket and thread part of the rod in to the bottom hole wich is already there in a 6.0L iron block........ then go buy a Tap thast is 10mm by 1.5 thread pitch if i remember correctly..... call ATI real fast and ask them the thread pitch of the threaded rod that threads into it......... if u buy a good tap they say on the package what size drill bit to use..... I bought new threaded rod for mine...... works like a charm.... Mine works so good that while i was working on my FMIC i tied the belt out of the way and my ALT. pulley ate 2 ribs of my 8 rib belt and i used it again because i wanted to see if it would work and if with it missing ribs i still see the same boost........ Your going 8 rib correct..... i wouldnt go 6 rib..... the bigger 8 rib crank pulley realy helps out because you can run bigger blower pulleys and biger pulleys mean more contact patch and tha means lees or no slip.

Its always been 8 rib. U must not understand what im saying. Ive alreay tapped on hole on the outside of th block. There is one more hole in th alternator bracked where a regular bolt go into. There is not a boss for this bolt to even be tapped. All that u can tap into is the water jacket. What did u do for this bolt?
