Default Forged LS1 coming, which way to go????

I have been looking at Turbos and Superchargers but I cannot deceide which way to go. I am gonna start build a forged 347 LS1 with a goal of 8.5 to 1 compression ratio. Can I make this very streetable and which way should I go??? Turbo or S/C??? I plan on 6.0 crank, H beam rods, ARP bolts for mains and Rods, forged pistons, and maybe a Z06 cam or I may keep my G5X3 cam cause I saw someone mention it maybe would be a good boost cam for a turbo. I plan on runnin LQ9 heads also. Any ideas before i start buying the wrong stuff would help

LQ9 Heads? I hope you didn't pay extra for them, The LQ9 uses the same heads as the LQ4.

Go with a F1-R and FMIC running 20-21psi using water/Alky injection after 16psi . I would use a larger cam than the LS6 and a smaller cam than the G5x. Something like 224/234 115LSA with .580 .595 lift. Thats my plan anyways.

Could u run 12psi on the street with a 8.5:1 comp ratio? I have looked at the F1-R and the F1 from procharger, I noticed alot of people run the D1 too. I wouldnt have to run a seperate computer system would I? I have seen some people who run the D1 have a seperate system like a F.A.S.T. one

Yes u can run up to 16-18psi on pump gas with a good tune on that C/R. The D1SC is a good blower, but it will be very hard to get more than 16psi out of it. It also flows 1400CFM compared 2000CFM from the F1-R. The F1-R will fit the same bracket as the D-1SC. FAST will give u better ignition and fuel control than the normal ECU via LS1 Edit. Some people though took the stock ECU up to 800rwhp. So u still can use LS1 Edit to tune your car even with all that power. Good luck.
