Why are the low RPM #'s lower than stock. It looks like it has a 3300rpm lag
I thought these systems were to hit full boost by 2500rpm?
NOt bashing, just wondering. I am a FI newb

The lower numbers would be due to the backpressure in the exhaust due to the turbo.
This is compensated by the boost produced from 3300 rpms and up.
It would seem that the STS kits have more lag comparied to typical kits with the same size turbos. Full boost wasn't reached until ~4200 rpms. I would expect a typical kit to have full boost with this turbo by ~3000 rpms.
I guess this is due to the lower exhaust temps being less capable of rapidly spooling the turbo.
But the kit does make good power, just with a narrower powerband.

My car makes full boost by 3100, not starting to make boost. Keep in mind, the dyno may not load the engine enough to represent how boost is made on the street. I have had my car on a "loose" dyno that did not load enough to show full boost.
