My buddy was running 125shot and 17psi. Let just say when your fuel noid dies this is what will happen.

Well the truck has gone down the track over 500 times. Now he like to do tune the truck on the street. For what he had in the truck 7.6 in the 1/8 is not that bad at all. Motor had a little over 42k on it. That run he ran a 13.4 at 90MPH he blew up at the 1000 foot mark.
We think he had an electical surge that cased the NOS system to blow and the nitrous noid stayed open and the fuel one closed. I still cant get over it folded a piston in half.

why run nitrous and boost? Couldnt he have just run more boost and not deal with the n2o, or 50 shot max just to cool intake temps down? Those pics are just unbelievable. Never knew so much could break in an engine at once. LOL. What kinda power was he putting down, and what were his normal times?

423rwhp and 715rwtq Not sure on how he got so much TQ. He can run 7.6 in the 1/8 and 12.2-12.4 in the 1.4. The stock blower would not handle the boost he wanted or would need or would want to run on the street. The funny thing is for only having 2k in the truck he is the fastest stock blower, DD, stock stall lighting out there and he can cut a 1.60 60s in that lead slead.

Here is what i can figure what is going though his mind. I dont need to drive around with 25lb all the time this will suck my gas down. I can cool the air another way without out NOS. But i need more power so i will just spray it to get that exstra HP that i need.
He has a lot of aircooling set up in the truck. Like a fuel sell in the back that is full of water/alky/dry ice/ice. He runs this though a cooler under the blower in the motor that comes stock on the lighting. He also sprays water/alky at below frezzding. He runs coolers infront of home made air intakes. He knows what he is doing and it works none stop every pass.
