Impressive. Not many head/cam cars get to those numbers, if any. Especially with an auto. Can't wait to see the times.

How does the kit work with your current Y and LTs?

i don't know if you are talkin with just FI or overall, but my car all stock including the TC pulled a 1.9 60' ONCE at the track

Finally someone that will take a STS F-body out to the track. I know TR won't let us down. Glad to see TR carrying the STS kits....love the numbers that it put down, great work. Any chance you guys getting a FMIC for it?

It fit great with the TR long tubes and my custom y-pipe...the only small issue we had was with the Hooker catback. Shane cut the pipe coming from the turbo down slightly and then welded on a 3 bolt flange so that it bolts to my Hooker intermediate pipe. We also added a Megs tip.

Still raining here... but it's supposed to clear up mid-week and I plan to go to the track Wednesday.

Angie Iam sure you will lay down some excellent times with that light weight car! What kind of 60' times are you hoping for and are you going to run DR's or slicks? I know you don't fudge numbers but the 340rwhp SAE with headers/catback & a pulley with an A4 is just freakin impressive! You gotta FREAK!

I just was unaware that they could do that. I have an M6 so limited knowlegde on autos. I always thought you had to get a stall to get good 60s. Obviously if you get good power your 60s will go down though. Cool thanks. You learn something new everyday.

ya, that is the great thing about these forums, always learning something. And your right, to get good, consistant(sp) 60' times, and new stall would help. I do plan on getting one soon

FINALLY, A day with no rain... So far today I've burned about 1/2 tank of gas, wasted about 20,000 miles off my tires and have been generally having a BLAST with this setup The turbo is so smooth but when it hits, the thing screams. It drives just like normal unless you put your foot to it (which has been happening a lot more!) I keep looking for excuses to drive around

The track we usually go to (No Problem Raceway) is not running TNT this week b/c of a big points meet, so I may head up to State Capitol Dragway this weekend if I can't wait another week.

Wow, great to see Thunder representing, and my favorite person there too. Any employment opportunities at TR? I will be a "test driver".

Thinking of doing the Alky or FMIC?

Good luck on your track times.

i enjoyed that quick lil joy ride today, i was impressed with how well it pulled, yet how tame the car was under normal driving conditions, kinda hard to tell since you did very little of that normal driving you should have seen the look on those guys faces in that truck, rite after we pulled out and they passed us and seconds later we flew by at over 110mph. sounds great, now get to the track.

Smokin01TA, how did the car feel compare to yours? I know they are around the same peak power level, but yours has all the gear, suspension goodies...

well unlike most turbo cars the huge power gains dont take as long to kick in, and the lag is much less than any turbo ive ridden in before, thats why i was so impressed with it. it pulls comparably hard to mine on top end but with the stock converter lacks the low end ****** off idle, however i never leave off idle but that is a easy fix with a converter and her's is a bit smoother ride given its a auto. i think with proper converter and suspension/tires it would be a fun race. and id much rather drive it around town than mine.
