Default Dyno Graph as requested

I am working on a SD tune, but this was done with the stock MAF, Stock computer, and 93 BP gas. I am expecting with the SD tune to get better drivability not that drivablity is bad now. At this point the MAF is limiting me, because everything above 4200rpm is guess work because the MAF begins to clip. This car is going to the strip for the first time Nov 6th at Darlington, SC. I can only hope for the best as I am not an experienced Drag Racer. The car is more than ready, it is just the driver that I am worried about.

This run does include the LSX intake and Throttle.

I like it very much, I am running the 7 7/8 crank pulley and 3.85 blower pulley to make 10lbs. accorfing to the boost gauge. Once I get the SD tune together, I am going to try and get a 3.80 pulley made to get it over 800 then quit.

Bryan, can you go over your fuel setup for me again, I know the injectors, I'm wondering what pumps again?

I just put an F1 and a new cam in my 370, and I should make around 15psi or so, Hopefully........

I got a single 420L bosch race pump going to the 60# injectors, there is fear that I will run out of fuel.....

bad *** brian!

bos, don't worry about the fule thing. you might see a slight dip in pressure up top but you can tune for it and you will never see any "leaness" there even though the pressure dropped a bit.

As I am not a fuel expert, I came to some wierd conclusions.

With the help of Bret at Aeromotive, I went with a Aeromotive 1000, and the regulator that goes with it running 62#'s with a 71# injector.

Then ran garden hose size fuel lines to bigger fuel rails.

I am convinced that the size of the line matters. The pump at full voltage is capable of cycling a full tank of fuel through the system every 6 minutes. So I put a voltage regulator on it to slow it down at low RPM.

Hope that answers your questions.
Thanks
Bryan

I had the same question in mind too.... That thing is going upward... Why didnt u take it to 6500RPM. U might see 12psi by then without changing the pulley.

The dyno operator let off at 5800RPM. Let me try and explain the situation. This dynojet, is not in the ground. Try and imagine a car lift with 4 corners. You put the car on the lift then lift the car, and back up onto a stationary platform that has the dyno drums on it.

You start the car, get it to 4th gear 2000 rpm, when you punch it, it looks like the car is going to leap off the dyno, the dyno will measure up to 1800HP, but it is kind of scary looking as an observer. The platform and the lift is secure and not moving but the car when he hits it really looks like it is jumping.

The cam for my car is dinky. 232/240 .595/.609 at 115LS. When I was designing the engine, My thoughts were a little more compression 9.8 to 1 and a little bit of boost 10. Easy on the engine and easy on the blower. I did build the valve train to go to 6500, Comp Double springs, jesel Mohawk shaft rockers, Arp bolts, chromemoly rods, titainum retainers, Rev Valves, but I am really trying to stay on the safe side, when you have $40K wrapped up in a motor, I would get over it, but man it would kill me if something happeded to it.
When we go to check it on Tuesday, I will have him rev it just past 6000RPM and we will see what we get. I will let you all know.

Thanks
Bryan

Im sure u will see more than 800rwhp easy if u went pass 6000RPM. Just for safety why dont u get a water/alky injection and set it up to work when u pass 10psi just to be safe.... Run 75 alky and 25 water so u will have the extra octane to support 12-13psi when u pass 6000RPM. Just my 02 cent. Good luck

I had looked at the injection thing a while back and didn't want to deal with having to refil a tank all the time, however, the way you put it, if I just use it when going over 10lbs of boost, that might be acceptable. I could use meth, alk, or water. On Tuesday, I will have them run it up to say 6100 just to make sure and see what we get.

Thanks
Bryan

Sounds good, so your fuel system really isn't that crazy for the power.....I figure if you had a TH400 like I do, you would be around 700rwhp or more.....

I really don't know what to expect from the new setup........
