Question Turbo Tech least expensive single turbo kit?

I have found the Turbo Tech T-60 LS1 kit for $4,000.

Is this the least expensive kit out there? I might upgrade to a T-67 or a T-76. Would the intercooler have to be bigger with the bigger turbos?

When is Pro Turbo Kits coming out with theirs? It seems I get the run around when I try to find out...

The more and more I think about it, I think a turbo set up would be the best all around power added for my car.

Driveablitiy would be great, almost like stock until the boost hits, you gain gas mileage on the highway.

The only down side I see is the extra heat under the hood.

I'm thinking of adding a set of 6.0L heads to my car for now to lower the CR a bit, should be around 9.25- 9.5 then right?

Winter is coming up ... you may consider the hot parts of the QMP (?) kit from Stainless works and get the rest of the parts used/ebay. Overall you'll spend more time putting things together but less $$$

I tried to find the parts from Stainless Works but didn't have any luck. Do you have to call them up to get them?

The only downside is I have never installed a turbo kit before, a simple manual would be nice...

I know where you can get a TTi race kit for $3500 sans turbo. If you hook up with Jose (JZ 1500 SS something or other) you might get a T-76 for around $800.

PM me.

I have seen Lee Howie's work on a 2000 Z28 ATI Procharger car that I had to re-tune so the car would run, I'm not impressed with his work... I got the guy 100HP at the wheels, it was way to rich and the timing was all f'd up...

I have to get Todds new number, hmmm, maybe he can help me... Todd, you reading this????

I like the idea of the STS Kit but you can't have SFC on your car and that is a big turn off for me. I have SLP SFC but I was willing to get some BMR SFC but none will work with that kit from what I have found out...

Good price on the race kit, but I would rather have the other kit...

not true... you can still use a driver's side SFC and the kit itself acts a passanger side SFC... So things would still be holding strong

Sorry but its the other way around. You can keep the passanger side sfc but you can not use one on the drivers side. The discharge pipe on a STS kit is attached at the same points as a Bmr sfc and in my opinion do work as a sfc to a certain point.

the STS is cheaper and easier to install than any of those kits and puts out about the same numbers
