Yeah, Chris Chow. Really cool guy in our car club. It's Bob Rieger's old motor.

There is a pretty cool video of him getting sideways @ 155mph racing my buddies Nova who was stuck in 2nd gear. Talk about a crazy points race. LOL

Here is the clip.

*Edit* I just did a Google and it brought up the SRT Forums:http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42429. This was on the their forums: http://videos.teamstreetlegal.com/ they have that vid there and the specs on the motor:

"87 WE-4, belonging to Chris Chow. The motor in the car belonged to Bob Rieger originally, who had the motor in a tube chassis car that made 1800 hp with the boost turned up. The motor, a 390ci SBC with twin T-76 q-trim turbos, is in a de-tuned state in order to avoid twisting the stock chassis of the buick. The car has went 8.50 @ 162, coming out soft since the only really suspension the car has is a wolf-bar, along with drag shocks and springs. Also it is a small tire car(28 inch) if I am not mistaken. Watch the car make over 1,000 rwhp while BOILING the tires on the dyno...."

its not an LT1, just a regular SBC. big difference!

BTW, i heard that engine bent the entire chassis of the first car it was in, so Chow isnt running it at full potential.
