If it is indeed a Eaton based system, it won't be as high demand as the twin screw systems. They make twin screws to replace the Eatons with big power gains. It all depends on the price. If the gains and price a simmilar to a P1, then that is the market that will be shifted. These roots blowers make boost earlier so the torque is there off iddle practically.

i cant wait to hear some answers to these questions. i would definately be more willing to pay more for a twin screw over the eaton ,and intercooler would be great. i would also suggest that the kit come as a full bolt on, no other parts to buy.

What I want from this blower!
1) Low maintenance.
2) Suited for a daily driver.
3) Adequate clearance under a stock flat hood.
4) Easy installation.
5) Stock gains of 100 - 150 Rwhp.
6) An integrated intercooler.
7) Price: $3500-$5000.
8) Able to use the stock lid and intake.
Design questions:
1) Will this design have an off-set blower? In other words, maybe the screw can be off-set to the left or right side of the engine. Sorta like the way GM does their supercharged versions.

What will be the street trim boost level, if this ever comes about and what types of other smaller pulley will be available for stronger application?
I don't mind getting another higher cowl WS6 hood, and trimming my windshiel cowl but I don't what a big notch it unless I can justify that with some serious power (i.e twin screw). As for the price I would love to see it for 5K but expect I it to be along the same lines as the Magnacharger for the Vette-GTO....6-7K range, maybe even a little more because of the design difficulty.

You get what you pay for. The MagnaCharger kits are somewhat higher priced because they come fully assembled, you simply replace your intake manifold completely and do not have to mess with fuel rails, injectors, assembling the blower, etc... The entire thing just drops in place. The most time consuming part is plumbing/wiring up the intercooler system. Easiest supercharger I've ever installed.

pro stock john. Is this company based in south florida and have pretty deep relations with magnacharger? Also, how did you come to get this info did they contact you or are you that good with the hear to the ground thing? I cant wait for the mag set up for the CTS-V. i traded my t/a for my cts-v and bam magnacharger makes a kit for me. life is great! Keep up the great work. This site kicks major tail.

2- main reason why I want to go FI
3- please don't make me buy a new hood, it would be a dream to fit it under the stock TA hood
4- I think all SC are easy to install
5- 150rwhp and a flat TQ curve would be sweet, I think the flat TQ is realistic because its an Eaton
6- Yup
7- Keep dreaming, I would be all over that in a few months if it were that cheap, but I see prices being more in the 5000-6000 with everything you need (sort of like the magnacharger setup) It would be nice to see 5000 with everything you need and be polished :bling:

I agree totally except for the part of the new hood. There is no way that's gonna fit unless they do some radical design and remotely mount the intercooler if thats even possible or no intercooler at all. Even the vette needs a higher cowl. Does the Goat? I would to love to see it fit but I don't think thats gonna happen if this Fbody Roots supercharger happens at all.
PSJ,
Do they have a prototype or are they still brainstorming the design? I get the impression that they are doing the latter and may realize that they cannot do it. I hope they are successful. I would love to buy this and install it over the holidays.

If you think about it it's possible to put a eaton style charger on our cars. It would have to sit on a special manifold that sets the actual SC way forward and the belt drive for it would sit way back, hard to explain but could be done with the right amount of R&D.

Maybe somebody should make a K-member and tranny mount
crossmember that drops the whole engine / trans by 2" (or
whatever) relative to the chassis. Then the 'Vette supercharger
might fit, not to mention the benefits of a lower CG (but, damn,
those speedbumps are gonna hurt).
